THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, October 16-23, 1958, page 1, column 6. "Margaret S. Link Passes Away. - Margaret S. Poorbaugh, daughter of H. K. Poorbaugh, was born in Jasper County, Ia., July 16, 1888 and has lived her entire life in the Farrar Community. She was united in marriage to Fred Link December 25, 1912. To this union was born three children, Richard and Russell of Maxwell and Mary Winslow of Altoona, Ia. She has long been an active member of the Farrar Methodist Church and a charter member of the WSCS. Left to mourn her passing are her husband, three children and ten grandchildren. Also three brothers, Wiser of Maxwell, Ralph of El Paso, Ill., Hertz of Riverside Calif., and one sister Kathryn Edmonds of Pamona, Calif. And a host of relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who have known her. Services were held Sunday, October 12, 1958, at 2 p.m. at the Farrar ____beth Nesbitt** and Rev H. B. Fay, officiating. Music was furnished by Mrs. Doris Norton and Eldon Geisler. Pallbearers were Bela Norton, Jim Payne, Clark Geddes, Jack Norton, Russell Payne and Claude Baldwin. Burial was in the Farrar Cemetery. "Sickness long I did endure, Physicians were in ___ God who pleased to give me ease freed me from my pain."" "CARD OF THANKS - We wish to thank the many friends for the beautiful flowers and cards and the acts of kindness shown during the illness and death of our wife and mother.
