MRS. CENA OSHEIM

ROLAND--Funeral services for Mrs. Cena Osheim were held from Bergen Lutheran church on Wednesday, July 18, 1958, with the Rev. Allen E. Nelson officiating.. Burial was in the Roland cemetery.

Mrs. Charles Noty of Chicago, Ill. sand "Hark, Hark My Soul," and "Den Store Hvide Flok" at the church.

Pallbearers were Cyrus Christian, Rudolph Risdal, Leroy Higgins, Aaron Braathun, Lawrence Osheim and Orris Osheim.

Life Sketch

Mrs. Cena Osheim, daughter of John and Anna Rorvig, was born Aug. 1, 182 near Roland and died at the Story County Hospital at Nevada July 13, 1958 where she had been a patient since June 26. At the time of her death she was 75 years, 11 months and 13 days of age.

March 20, 1916 she was married to Andrew Osheim. They lived on a farm near Zearing for two years. In 1918 they moved southeast of Roland where they lived 21 years, until 1939 when they retired from farming and moved to Roland.

She was preceded in death by her husband, who died June 22, 1958 and her parents and brother.

Surviving are a brother, Sam Rorvig and a sister, Mrs. John (Ella) Braathun, both of Roland.

Mrs. Osheim had been in poor health for many years. In 1954 she fell, fracturing her hip, which left her an invalid since that time.
