Last Rites For Malinda Mansfield

NEVADA--Funeral services for Malinda Beatrice Mansfield were held from the Ryan Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon a 2 p. m. with the Rev. Leonard Franz of the Nevada Christian Tabernacle, Assembly of God church, officiating.

Mrs. Florence Rapp sang, "My Saviour First of All" and "Under His Wings," accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Norman Dobson.

The casket bearers were Kenneth Carroll, Jr., Wayne Heubner, Fred Knott, Marlyn Knott, Ora Knott and Rober Maxwell.

Burial was in the Nevada cemetery.

Obituary

Malinda Beatrice Mansfield, daughter of Eliza Ann and William Knott, on of five children, was born July 29, 1870, in Yadkin County, North Carolina. She died in Story County Hospital at Nevada, Iowa, March 16, 1958 at the age of 87 years, 7 months and 19 days.

On June 25, 1891 she married William A. Mansfield in Champaign, Ill. They came to Iowa in 1907, living in the area of Iowa Falls until she came to Nevada about 9 years ago. She was preceded in death by her husband in May of 1943.

She was the mother of five children. The youngest son Kenneth died in March of 1937. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Russell of Tama; Mrs. Marie Carroll, Nevada, and two sons, William A. and Robert R. Mansfield of Santa Ana, Calif. Also one brother, nine grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. She was a member of the Church of the Open Bible, Iowa Falls, Iowa, for many years.
