Special to the Journal.
Slater, June 9--Mrs. Anna Larson passed away from heart trouble and complications. Funeral service were held at the Bethlehem church Sunday afternoon in charge of Rev. P. Bueland of Cambridge in the absence of her pastor Rev. E. Duea. The floral offerings were very beautiful and numerous. "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," "Den Ensomme Sang" was sung by a ladies quartette. "Den Store Hvide Flok Vi Se" was sung by Miss Ella Maland. Mrs. M. S. Heggen and Mrs. A. L. Peterson sang the duet "Tired." Rev. Bueland spoke in the English and Norwegian languages. The deceased is survived by four children Miss Tilla and Burton Larson of this place, Clarence of Springfield, Ill., Austin of St. Paul all were present at the services. Interment was made in the Palestine cemetery by the side of her husband who passed away a number of years ago.
