BENJAMIN BORWWICK

ROLAND--Funeral services for Benjamin Borwick, 39, were held Monday, Nov. 18 at the Bergen Lutheran Church. The Rev. A. E. Nelson officiated at the church services which followed services at Erickson Funeral Home. Mrs. James Knutson sang at the funeral home and quartet composed of Con H. Boyd, Harold Lage, Orris J. Osheim and Phillip Jacobson sang at the church.

Pallbearers were Aaron Braatchun, Reuben O. Solyst, Benjamin Durby, Arthur Holland, Jeffery Borwick and Orvis T. Anderson. Interment was in the Mamrelund cemetery east of Randall.

Life Sketch

Benjamin Leonard Borwick was born October 6, 1918, the son of Ben and Lizzie Borwick on a farm north of Roland. He died at his home in Roland Nov. 15.

He is survived by six sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Ellen Opstvedt and Mrs. Ansel Swenson both of Story City, Mrs. Lawrence Donhowe, Ellsworth, Mrs. Frances Teigland, Randall, Mrs. Earl Quam, Austin, Minn., Mrs. Herbert Millang, Zearing, Melbourne, Ellsworth, Henry of Roland and twenty seven nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Henry who died in infancy and Porter and one sister, Mabel.
