Death of Young Lady

Miss Malinda Swenson passed away Sunday, September 13, at Redfield, S. D. after a short illness of three weeks.

Miss Swenson was born in Norway in 1880, she being 33 years old at the time of her death. She came to this country six years ago and has made her home here with her sister Mrs. Jonas Olson, until five weeks ago when she went to Redfield, S. D. where she died.

She was a woman of good true Christian character and died the way she lived believing that the maker had made a better home for her elsewhere. She leaves to mourn her death, a father and mother besides numerous other relatives in Norway, and her sister Mrs. Jonas Olson of this place.

The funeral services were held from Salems church Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Sandven had charge of the ceremony. Interment took place in the Roland cemetery.
