Funeral Services at Huxley Today for Thor Wagley

Special to the Journal.
Huxley, June 8--Funeral services for Thor Wagley, 72, longtime resident of this community, who died at a hospital at Slayton, Minn., Sunday were held this afternoon.

There was prayer at the home of his brother L. M. Wagley followed by the funeral at Palestine church with Rev. Peter Buland in charge. Burial was in the Palestine cemetery.

Born in Skord, Norway, in 1865, he came to America as a young man and had lived near of in Huxley practically all of the time since. For the past twelve years he had lived with his brother L. M. in Huxley, but a short time ago he had gone to Hadley, Minn., for a visit at the home of his brother George Wagley. There he was taken ill and was taken to the hospital at Slayton and died Sunday.

Besides the two brothers he leaves a sister Mrs. Sarah Thorson of near Cambridge.
