Funeral Services Held at Zearing for Mrs. Julius Schultz
Zearing, Nov. 10--The funeral services for Mrs. Julius Schultz, who died at her home near here Thursday, in charge of Rev. R. E. Kerney, were held Saturday, Nov. 8 at 2 p. m. Burial was made in Zearing cemetery.
Pallbearers were Chas. Kluspie, James Ruxton, Albert Tolley, W. W. Carver, W. T. Rogers and Aaron Hefley.
A quartet consisting of Miss Margaret Reese, Mrs. Harry Martin, Gilbert Womeldorff, Glenn McBride sand with Miss Delores Whitaker at the piano.
The flowers were cared for by Mrs. I. S. Madison and Mrs. H. E. Strassburg.
Mrs. Julius Schultz was born Ann Elvina Bryant, daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Bryant, on June 28, 1878, and died at her home near Zearing, Nov. 6, 1941, at the age 63 years, 4 months and 8 days. She was the third child of a family of six daughters.
Mrs. Schultz was born and raised in the Hickory Grove community, just southeast of Nevada. She was converted at the Hickory Grove school house and later united with the Christian church.
On Oct. 14, 1903, she was united in marriage to Julius Schultz. After three years on a farm near Zearing, they moved to the present location. To this union two daughters were born, Iva and Ilo, the latter having died in infancy.
Mrs. Schultz is survived by her husband, her daughter, Mrs. Jess Bryant, and three grandsons, Carol, John and Byron Bryant. One sister, Mrs. Frank Kuhn of Rodman, preceded her sister in death four years. Those sisters remaining are Mrs. George Fry, Mrs. O. C. Baker, Miss Mary Bryan and Mrs. C. W. Schultz, all of Nevada.
