Funeral Services Held at Maxwell for Frona Randall-Troup

Maxwell, Sept. 5--Funeral services for Frona Randall-Troup were held Tuesday afternoon in the Methodist church in charge of her pastor, the Rev. John D. Turner, with Rev. J. D. Brower, assisting.

A mixed quartette composed of Mrs. Harold Mohler, Mrs. H. C. Larson, C. B. French, Preston Conant sang "Home of the Soul," "Face to Face," and "Sun of the Soul" with Mrs. Gerton Nelson accompanying on the piano. Pall bearers were Dan Peters, Harry Gibson, C. B. French, J. W. Bloomfield, Will Troup and N. Jay Pearson. The following life sketch of the deceased was read by the minister during the service.

Frona May Randall, daughter of Milo Marion and Adelia Ann Randall, was born December 9, 1866, near Peoria City, Ia., and passed from this life on Sunday evening, August 30th, having attained the age of 75 years, 8 months and 21 days. She was the last surviving member of a family of eight children. Surviving her are a niece, Mrs. Olive Greeley of Calama, Chile; two other nieces and seven nephews in Nebraska, Wyoming, Washington, D. C., and Los Angeles.

Mrs. Troup has been in ill heath for the last ten years and for three years has been confined to her bed. Through her long illness and intense suffering she maintained an unusual degree of cheerfulness and patience. Prior to her marriage to Martin H. Troup, she was in the millinery business She was very energetic and well liked. She reared her niece, Olive, from a girl of six year and a real mother to her.

Mrs. Troup was a member of the Maxwell Methodist church and faithful in attendance until her ill health. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Stars.
