DEATHS

Funeral services for Ole R. Brendeland were held on Wednesday, July 13th at 2 p.m. in the Palestine Lutheran Church with the Rev. Olaf Holen in charge.

Soloist Elman Sheldahl was accompanied by Lois Nelson on the organ.

Pallbearers were Magnus Olson, Leo Olson, Joe Hovde, Robert Christopher, Clarence Hovde, LeRoy Brendeland.

Interment was in Palestine Cemetery, Huxley.

Ole Brendeland was born on July 23, 1890 in Sioux County, Iowa. He was married on February 27, 1919 to Lydia K. Handeland.

He was a member of Palestine Lutheran Church.

Brendeland died at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames on Sunday evening July 10. Survivors are three daughters, Lorraine Brendeland, Mrs. Rudy (Alvina) Larson, Cambridge; Mrs. Noel (Leona) Larson, Cambridge; two sons, John and Omar of Huxley; eleven grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Bertha Christopher of Huxley.

He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
