Mrs. Brendeland Is Dead At Age of 71

Mrs. Ole Brendeland, 71, Huxley, died Monday morning at the Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames.

Services will be in the Palestine Lutheran Church near Huxley Thursday at 2 p. m. with burial in the Palestine Cemetery. Rev. Arnold F. Hanson will officiate.

Mrs. Brendeland was a lifetime member of the Palestine Lutheran Church.

Survivors are her husband, Ole; three daughters, Mrs. Noel (Leona) Larson, Mrs. Rudy (Alvina) Larson, Miss Lorraine at home; two sons, Omar Brendeland and John Brendeland both of Huxley. Her mother, Mrs. Bertina Handeland, Des Moines; three brothers, William Handeland and Lloyd Handeland, both of Brainerd, Minn. and Lewis Handeland of Milwaukee, Wis., four sisters, Mrs. Marie Peckosh, Des Moines, Lettie Lepsof, Superior, Wis., Tillie Leavitte, Los Angeles, Calif. and Mable Young of Isle, Minn. and eleven grandchildren also survive.
