THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, September 7, 1961, page 1, column 4. "HARMON ENFIELD DIES IN DES MOINES HOSPITAL - Harmon Enfield, 61, Maxwell, died early Monday morning at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines, where he had been a patient for four days. He farmed near Maxwell all his life. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m., at the Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell, with the Rev. Thomas Kelley officiating. Burial was in the Brethren Cemetery south of Maxwell. Survivors include 2 sisters, Mrs. Rebecca DeVilbiss of Marshalltown and Mrs. Bertha Fackler of Maxwell; also 2 brothers, Charles H. and Dan both of Maxwell."
