OPAL I. MILLER

Opal I. Miller, 67, of Maxwell IA, died Monday, July 18, 1988, at Story County Hospital in Nevada IA of a heart attack.

She had been in ill health the past four years.

She was born May 24, 1921, at Zearing IA, to Bert and Lottie (Wescott) O'Neil. She had been resident of Maxwell the past 25 years.

Survivors include a son, Ron Corbin of Kerrville TX; two daughters, Mary (Mrs. Don) Moore of Nevada and Judy (Mrs. Dwight) Nernes of Leon IA; two sisters, Maude Patterson and Gladys Rhodes, both of Maxwell; two brothers, Chuck O'Neil of Blue Earth MN and Virg O'Neil of Lorimor IA; also Ray Beal Jr. of Maxwell; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her parents; one son; an infant daughter; two grandsons; her first husband, Lloyd Corbin, and her second husband, Leonard Miller.

Funeral services were held from Chet Ryan Mortuary, 5th St. and G Ave., Nevada, on Thursday, July 21, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dave Vernon officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery at Collins IA.

Friends were invited to call at the mortuary after noon on Wednesday, July 20, where the family met friends from 7 to 9 p.m.

A memorial fund has been established.
