Dies in Panama

The death of Mrs. Martin Roe, at Ancon, Panama, on May 19th was the sad news that reached her relatives here a short time ago. Mrs. Roe had underwent an operation for an abcess and died a few days following the operation. The remains were then shipped back to Marshalltown, where funeral services were held last Thursday, Rev. G. K. Thompson, preached the funeral sermon after which the remains were laid to rest in the Marshalltown cemetery. The deceased was a sister of T. E. and Lars Skogerboe, of this place, and O. E. Skogerboe, of Lake Mills.
