Patricia “Pat” Ann Dice, 81 of Colo, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020, at Story County Senior Care in Nevada.

Pat was born February 1, 1939, in Des Moines, the daughter of Virgil Clifford and Janet Ovilla (Brown) Dice. She graduated from Colo High School in 1957. Pat then graduated from Drake University in 1961 with a degree in music education and later earned her master’s degree from Drake. She taught school at Newton High School for two years before going to work for Dayton Countryman Law office in Nevada.

Pat was a member of Rock Creek Bible Church in Maxwell and for the last 15 years she offered the chapel service at Story County Senior Care. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading.

Pat is survived by her siblings: Virgil Dice of Houston, TX, Beverly (Richard) Lauer of Westfield, IN, Robert Dice of Altoona and Kathleen (Hadley) Meyer of Nixa, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sisters, Jean Swanson and Sandra Strand.

A private family graveside service will be at the Colo Cemetery in Colo.

Memorial contributions may be made to Rock Creek Bible Church in Maxwell in memory of Pat.
