Final Rites Tuesday For Mrs. Martin Link
LORING--Funeral services for Mrs. Martin J. Link, who died last Saturday were held Tuesday afternoon in the Loring church with the Rev. J. I. LaFavre officiating.
Obituary
Minnie Marie Cairns, the youngest daughter of Elizabeth and Robert Cairns, was born in Washington township, Polk county on June 15, 1880, and departed this life at her home south of Maxwell of August 7, 1948, at the age of 68 years, 1 month and 23 days.
On July 3, 1901, she was united in marriage to Martin J. Link, and to this union was born one daughter and two sons.
She has lived her entire life in this vicinity, taking an interest in community life and was an active member of the Loring Missionary Society and while in good health enjoyed working in the Farm Bureau.
Mrs. Link was preceded in death by an infant daughter; one son, Kenneth, and one grandson, Harold Hoyt Link, also two sisters Alice Zilm and Etta Burnett and three brothers, Charles, Robert, and James.
The deceased was a most patient sufferer during the past few weeks of her illness and has been most tenderly cared for by her family. She was a good neighbor and friend, always willing to help others.
She leaves to mourn her departure, her devoted husband, a son, Harold, and a daughter-in-law, Letta, one brother, John Cairns, and a host of relatives and friends.
