Last Rites in Colo Church Sunday For Mrs. Murray Wallace

Last rites were held for Mrs. J. Murray Wallace of Colo, who died Friday Sept. 15, at the Mary Greeley hospital in Ames, from the Colo Methodist church Sunday afternoon at 2:30, the Rev. John F. Rex officiated. Burial was in the Colo cemetery.

Three songs, "The Lord's Prayer", "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Beyong the Sunset" were sung by Charles Hinton, accompanied by Mary Belle Quinn at the piano.

The many beautiful flowers were cared for by Mrs. Ada Manley, Mrs. Helen Wilson, Mrs. Agnes Henry and Mrs. Rosina Truesdell.

Casket bearers were Wayne Truesdell, Victor McKinney, Mark Wilson, Paul Henry, Tom Manley and Roy Dunahoo.

Obituary

Mrs. Wallace was born Laura Green, daughter of Frank and Ethel Green at Greencastle, Ind. on Feb. 12, 1909.

On December 21, 1935, she married J. Murray Wallace at Bloomington, Ill. Six years ago they moved to Colo.

Mrs. Wallace was an active member of the social life of the Colo community, and a member of the Colo Methodist church.

Surviving

Surviving are her husband Murray Wallace, one son James Murray Wallace, Jr., one daughter Susan Mae Wallace, one brother Joseph C. Green of Cincinnati, Ohio, two sisters, Mrs. Mary Todd and Mrs. Francis Looney, both of Chicago, and her parents.
