THE DES MOINES REGISTER, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, Monday 28 May 1951-Morning page 4 "GLEN S. BELL, 59, CAR DEALER, DIES Glen S. Bell, 59, partner in the Bell & Kimball Used Car Co. died of a heart ailment Sunday at his home, 1907 E. Thirty-second court. He had been ill six weeks. Born in Maxwell, Mr. Bell was in the automobile business in Des Moines for the last 30 years. Before moving to Des Moines 20 years ago, he lived at Bondurant. Mr. Bell was a member of Grand View Park Baptist church here where services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be at Peoria cemetery near Maxwell. The body is at Hamilton's Funeral home. Surviving are his wife, Ethel; one daughter, Mrs. Richard E. Dawson of Des Moines; three sons, Ralph and Howard, both of Des Moines, and Melvin of Mason City; two brothers, Roy of Maxwell and Bert of Des Moines; three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Miller of Springfield, Mo., Mrs. Charley Byers of Mitchellville and Mrs. Walt Backus of Altoona, and 19 grandchildren."
