TORGER KITTELSON

Torger Kittelson was born in Norway, Dec. 29, 1829, and died at his home in Story City, Dec. 8, 1922, lacking only three weeks of being 93 years old.

He came to America in 1858 and was married in Illinois to Anna Omvig in 1863. They moved to Iowa in February, 1864, settling on a farm near Story City, which was their home ever since. Besides the wife, the following children survive him: C. T. Kittelson of Mylo, N. D.; J. T. Kittelson of Streator, Ill.; Mrs. Geo. Woodruff of Watertown, N. Y., and Mrs. L. B. Johnson of Story City.

Funeral services were held in the Immanuel church Dec. 13, Rev. Heimarck officiating.

The deceased had been in remarkable health for one of his great age. He made his daily rounds in the town up to within a few days of his death.
