Hold Final Rites For Mrs. Frank Sutter

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Frank Sutter in the Congregational church in Kelley on Sunday, Feb. 19, with the Rev. Murray Allen of the Congregational church in Ames delivering the sermon.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cline sang two vocal numbers, "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Going Home."

Pall bearers were six grandsons, Glen, Loyal and Donald Lowman, Lyle Phillips, Clifford Hanlin and Herbert Hibbs. Interment was made in the Ontario cemetery.

Obituary

Anna Melva Belle Cook, daughter of Harry and Rebecca Cook, was born at Nevada, Iowa, on Aug. 21, 1870, and passed away at the age of 79 years at her home in Kelley on Thursday, Feb. 16, 1950.

She was married to Frank Sutter in Kelley on Feb. 20, 1889, and had lived most of her life in the Kelley community.

Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Effie Lowman of Kelley, Mrs. Irene Brendeland of Ames and Mrs. Edith Phillips of Kelley; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Lillian Stark of Topeka, Kansas.
