GEORGIA LOIS POST

Georgia Lois Post, 90, of Nevada died Sunday, Dec. 21, 1980 at Story County Hospital.

She was born Feb. 18, 1890 at Lenora, Kan., the daughter of George William and Sarah Jane Womack Stahlman. She moved to Avis, Mo. and then to Story County when she was 12 years old, living in the same home until four years ago, when she went to live with her daughter, Joan.

On Oct. 28, 1908 she married Claude James Post at her mother's home in Nevada.

She was a member of the Nevada United Methodist Church, the Nevada Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, Royal Neighbors and the Daughters of Union Veterans.

She is survived by four daughters, Zelma Olson and Joan Lehman of Nevada, Jeanette Getting of Mt. Prospect, Ill., and Arline Lyons of Mesa, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, William; a grandchild; three brothers, Jack, Elmer and Harney; and three sisters, Maude, Minnie and Dora.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 23 at the United Methodist Church, Nevada, with Rev. Harold Wagner officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.

The family will meet friends from 7 to 9 p.m. this evening, Dec. 23, at the Ryan Funeral Home.
