Harvey Stahlman Rites Wednesday

Funeral services for the late Harvey L. Stahlman, 329 J Ave., Nevada, will be at the Ryan Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon at 2 with the Rev. M. C. Shupe officiating.

Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.

Stahlman, 70, died Monday morning while visiting at the home of his son in Des Moines.

A native of Lenora, Kansas, he was the son of William and Jane Stahlman. He had been a resident of Story County the past 50 years and was a retired mechanic and painter.

He was married to Ethlyn Lock on October 29, 1919 in Nevada. Two sons were born, J. T. Stahlman of Nevada and Paul Stahlman of Des Moines. Also surviving are five great grandchildren, one brother, Elmer of Aurora, Ill., and two sister, Mrs. Minnie Purvis of Ames and Mrs. Georgia Post of Nevada.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, one brother and one grandson.

Stahlman was a member of the American Legion, VFW, and World War I Barracks.
