Mrs. Martin Erickson died at her home at Story City last Thursday after an illness of several months. Mrs. Erickson was formerly a resident of McCallsburg. Funeral services were held Monday from the St. Petri church.

Mrs. Martin Erickson of Story City passed away at her home early Thursday morning. She had been suffering from diabetes for a long time. She was seriously ill but a short time, and it is thought that a bad cold contracted recently hastened her death.

Mr. and Mrs. Erickson lived on a farm here for many years. Mrs Erickson leaves to mourn her departure her husband Martin Erickson, five daughters, Mrs. Emma Olson of Seattle, Wash.,; Mrs. Inger Stensed of Chicago; Mrs. Ellen Hanson of Minnesota; and Mrs. Anna Johnson and Mrs. Esther Scoville of this place; and on e son, Corneil, also of this place.

The sympathy of her many friends here is extended to the bereaved relatives.
