Mr. Knute Ryen, aged citizen of Huxley, passed away shortly after twelve o'clock at his home at Huxley last Sunday. He had been sick for some time, the victim of a complication of diseases.

Transcriber note: He is buried in the Palestine Cemetery, Palestine Township, Story County, Iowa. He marker reads: Father Knudt Ryen Jun 2 1845 - Oct 15 1920.
