FORMER STORY RESIDENT DIED

JOHN HAMM PASSED AWAY AT FAIRBURY, NEB., FRIDAY

Interment services for the late John Hamm, 71, a former resident of Colo who passed away after a lingering illness at his home in Fairbury, Neb., Friday morning at 1130 will be held in St. Patrick's cemetery, Tuesday morning.

Funeral services were held in the Catholic church in Fairbury this morning at nine o'clock. The body, accompanied by relatives, will arrive in Nevada, Tuesday morning over the Rock Island at 8:05.

The deceased is a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Hamm, early residents of Colo who had come with their family to east Story county from Illinois.

Mr. Hamm is survived by his wife, who was the former Miss Annie Coleman of Colo, a daughter, Mabel of Washington, D. C., a daughter Helen, Mrs. S. W. Dee of Rochelle, Ill.; the son Dr. Frank Hamm of Brooklyn, N. Y., and the daughter, Mildred, teacher in the Evanston, Ill., schools.

He is also survived by his sister, Mrs. A. O. McCoy of Colo and his brothers, Will Hamm of Colo and Charles and Frank Hamm of Armour, S. Dakota.
