Marcia Sue Olson
November 28, 1951 - December 28, 2019

Marcia was a very kind, giving and loving soul. Friends remember her as always having a smile on her face and a friendly word whenever they ran into her. Marcia enjoyed reading and family pictures…. especially those of her great-great niece Olivia Brecht. She always told me she couldn’t get enough and to keep them coming. On Saturday December 28th God called Marcia home. She is joined in heaven with her father Garvin Olson, her mother Maurine Olson and her brother Gary Olson. She will be greatly missed by her family and all that loved her. In lieu of a formal ceremony Terri Brecht Harris, Julie Oliver and I will be hosting a Celebration of Life on Tuesday January 21st at the American Legion in Story City from 6:00 pm – 8:00pm. Supper will be provided. We love you Marcia…. Your loving sister Mary Jean Barkema and daughters.

The family requests that no flowers be sent for the service.
