Many Other Interesting Notes from Near Cambridge

Special to the Journal.
Cambridge, Dec. 3--Word has reached Cambridge relatives and friends of the death of Sylvia Snyder at Trinidad, Colorado, Nov. 7. Mrs. Snyder was a Cambridge girl, known as Miss Sylvia Bossout and was married to Dr. Arthur Apland brother of Clarence Apland of Ames, to whom were born two daughters and one son. After a few years of widowhood she was married to Dan Snyder. Later the family moved west where Mr. Snyder passed away several years ago since which time Mrs. Snyder has made her home with her children. She is a cousin of Mrs. J. A. McKee and W. B. Illingsworth of this place.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Sylvia Anne Bossuot, daughter of Samuel Bossuot and Amelia Illingworth, married (1) to Dr. Arthur Stuart Aplin on 13 December 1888 in Cambridge, Story County, Iowa. He died 19 February 1900 at Cambridge, Story County, Iowa. She married (2) Daniel Selby Snyder on 21 June 1903 in Cambridge, Story County, Iowa.
