Pauline A. Stensland
May 28, 1919 - November 9, 2019

Pauline Berrett was born on May 28, 1919 in Nevada to John and Ellen Nellie (Lloyd) Berrett. She grew up in the Nevada area, graduating from Shipley High School in 1938. Pauline married Orland Stensland on June 23, 1940 at Fjeldberg Lutheran Church in Huxley. In the union of this marriage three sons were born; Dave, Ron and Tom. They farmed near Huxley until 1983 when they moved to the Ames area and continued to farm. Pauline loved flowers, bird watching, mowing her yard, cooking/baking and spending time with her grandchildren and all of her family and friends

Pauline passed away November 9, 2019 at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames at the age of 100.

Pauline is survived her son, Ron (Virginia) Stensland of Ames; daughter-in-law, Joan Stensland of Ames; five grandchildren, Jeff (Kristie) Stensland, Julie (Craig) Schrader, Rhonda Stensland, Renae (Larry) Gatewood and Jessie (Josh) Larson; 10 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers John, Harry and Robert Berrett; two sisters, Marguerite Bauge and Rene Hockman; her husband, Orland and two sons, Dave and Tom.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fjeldberg Lutheran Church or Israel Family Hospice in Ames.
