Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

Brenda Askildson, age 57 of Ames, passed away November 8 ,2019 at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames after a lengthy illness.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at 1:00 P.M. at Ascension Lutheran Church in Ames.

Brenda Leah Askildson was born on March 16, 1962, the daughter of Robert and Joyce (Boyle) Askildson in Mason City, Iowa. She enjoyed family fishing trips to Minnesota and Canada, watching 60’s television shows and old Western movies with her dad. She also enjoyed doing puzzles, crocheting, and making jewelry which she loved giving away to her friends. Brenda was solid with her faith in Christ and was an active member at Ascension Lutheran Church in Ames.

She is preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Derek. Brenda is survived by her sister, Vickie Askildson-Howard and her husband David of Boulder, Colorado; brother, Rodney Askildson and his wife Mary of Mason City, Iowa and many loving nieces and nephews.

In spirit, heart and memory, LOVE lives FOREVER!
