Collin lady's husband died Sunday

COLLINS -- The funeral for Frank L. Scott of Mesa, Arizona will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada on Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. William Andre of Collins officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Collins.

The 71-year-old Arizona man died of a heart attack early Sunday morning in St. Edward, Nebraska.

Born July 2, 1903 in Broken Bow, Nebraska, he was the son of Lloyd and Jane Lacey Scott. He had lived in Mesa for the past 16 years and was retired. he was married to the former Jessie Thompson of Collins on August 4, 1953 in Papillion, Nebraska at the Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife and three brothers, Ival Scott of Cudahy, California, Gerald Scott of Whittier, Calif. and Eldon Scott of Omaha, Nebr.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one brother.
