DEATHS

JOHN Q. PAGE

John Quincy Page, 95, Nevada, died Tuesday, Jan. 4 at the Oak Park Manor, where he was a resident.

Page was born July 2, 1887 to Oscar and Sarah Denny Page in Central City. He lived in Waterloo for 65 years before moving to Nevada in April of 1961.

He married Adeline Mae Dunn in 1908. He operated a pharmacy in LaPorte City until 1917, when he became an insurance agent in Waterloo. He sold insurance until he was 85 years old. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Waterloo and a past member of the Masonic Lodge.

Services will be held Thursday, Jan. 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the Ryan Funeral Home in the Nevada. High priest Michael Nissen of the Reorganized Church of the Latter Day Saints will officiate.

Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 7 at the Mount Clark Cemetery in Central City.

He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.

Survivors include two sons, Keith of Nevada and Vernon K. of Waterloo, one grandchild and two great grandchildren.
