Death Sunday Of Mrs. Elden Kenison

AMES -- Mrs. Ellen M. Kenison, 45, of Compton, Calif., died at the Los Angeles General hospital Sunday of a stroke. She had been ill for many years.

She was born April 17, 1907 in Story county, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Hauge. She was united in marriage to Elden R. Kenison on May 7, 1927 at Huxley, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Palestine Lutheran church with Rev. Harry Stoutland in charge. Burial will be in the Palestine cemetery. The body will lay in state at the Adams funeral home in Ames until Thursday.

She is survive by her husband; one son Richard G., who is with the U. S. Air Force in Japan; three brothers, Ben Hauge of Hatton, N. Dakota, Helmer Hauge of Elmore, Minn. and Ole Hauge of Huxley; two sisters, Mrs. Aletta Wee of Huxley and Mrs. Hannah Tesdall of McCallsburg and her mother Mrs. Anna Hauge of Huxley.
