Doris Ruth Warren, age 86, of Nevada, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Rolling Green Village in Nevada.

Ruth was born April 21, 1933 in Stanhope, Iowa, to Magnus and Ellen (Wike) Miller. She married Wesley Warren in September of 1952. She and Wesley had three children; Linda, Rosalie and John. Ruth was a member of Pleasant Grove Community Church. Besides her family, her passions in life were baking, cooking, flowers, cats and soap operas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, a sister, her husband; Wesley, her daughter; Linda, granddaughter; Colista Will, and great-grandson; River Thompson.

Ruth is survived by her daughter; Rosalie (Allen) Thompson, son; John Warren, six grandchildren; Angela Paplow, Brent Bochmann, Candi (Jeff) Adams, Clint (Carrie) Thompson, Tiffany (Sean) Thomas and Jenna (Dan) Cornwell. Thirteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren, sister-in-laws; Lois Logan and Gloria (Jim) Grant.

The friends and family visitation will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 2, 2019 at Pleasant Grove Community Church. Ruth's funeral service will follow at 11:00 A.M. with a light luncheon served after by the Pleasant Grove Community Church ladies.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Adams Funeral Home and online condolences may be left for the family at www.adamssoderstrum.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Pleasant Grove Community Church.
