LEARN OF DEATH OF MOTHER.

Roland Men Learn Sad News From Norway.

Special to the Journal.
Roland, March 12.--Paul and J. A. Knudtson received the sad message Saturday from Norway, Europe, announcing the death of their mother, Mrs. Bertha Knudtson of Dommersnes. She died February 21 at her home in Vikebygd. She was a that time 84 years of age. The deceased has always been a strong woman, never been sick until about a month previous to her death. She leaves to mourn her death, four children, the two mention who lived in this city, Mrs. Peder Alne, with whom she has made her home in Norway, and Herman, living near Forest City. Mrs. Knudtson came from a large family having had twenty sisters and three brothers, and only three are now living. They are Theo. Hermandson and Raynold Halvem of Forest City, and one sister, Martha Kabjesven of Minneapolis.
