GUGE FUNERAL HERE SUNDAY AFTERNOON

BODY OF NEVADA BOY REACHED HERE LAST NIGHT FROM CHAMBERLAIN

The body of Eldon Guge, 25, Nevada boy who died at Chamberlain, S. D., a victim of typhoid fever epidemic that is holding the Missouri river city in a fierce grip, arrived here last night and is now at the Bishop Funeral Home.

The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at the Evangelical church, following a prayer service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Iowa Center cemetery.

Eldon Guge, son of Mr. and Mrs. N. P. Guge, was born on a farm south of Nevada July 17, 1907. He had lived on or near Nevada, practically all of his life.

He had left here in May in search of work and his people had heard nothing from him until word reached them he was seriously ill in a hospital at Chamberlain.

The father, one sister and two of the brothers left here at once for Chamberlain and reached there before he died.

He leaves Tillie, his bride of a few months, his father, N. P. Guge of Nevada, sisters,, Mrs. Harry Louks of Milford township, Mrs. Eva Haynes of Nevada, Mrs. Mona Fuller of Cleveland, Mrs. Ed Anderson of Boone and Mrs. Phyllis McDaniels of Boone and the brothers Guy of Nevada, Levi of Alden, Kansas and John of Nevada. The mother had been dead for about five years.
