Father Dies in Lincoln, Nebraska

Ed Opperman, former Ames resident, died following a heart attack Sunday at his home in Lincoln, Neb. He left Story County in 1942, moving to Lincoln.

He is survived by four sons, Richard, Robert and Bill, all of Nevada and A/2/c Jack of Portland, Oregon. Two daughter, Norma Lodestein and Shirley Hagen of Ames, and ten grandchildren.

Funeral will be Wednesday at 1:30 in Lincoln.
