Rites Tuesday in Ames for Stella Jorgensen

Services for an Ames woman, Mrs. Stella Westvold Jorgensen, 59, of 2207 Hayes Avenue, will be Tuesday, May 6 at 2 p.m. in Bethesda Lutheran Church in Ames with Rev. O. M. Severseike officiating and burial in the Story Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Jorgensen died Thursday, May 1 at Hollywood Medical Center in Hollywood, Fla. while visiting her daughter.

She is survived by her second husband, Max Jorgensen; three sons: James S. Westvold of Santa Clara, Calif., Steven B. Westvold of Ames and Warren D. Westvold of Burlington; two daughters: Mrs. Karen Scheuermann of Hollywood, Fla. and Carolyn Westvold of Ames; one step-son, Marlin Jorgensen of Ames; two step-daughters: Mrs. Naomi Weuve of Ames and Mrs. Judy Sowers of Story City; four brothers: Thelmer Ford of Story City, Joseph of Stanhope, Jeffrey of Stratford and Berven of Phoenix; three sisters: Mrs. Sophie Amensen of Ames, Mrs. Violet Olson and Marjorie Westvold, both of Huxley; five grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bernard Westvold, a daughter, Laurie Ann and her parents, John and Julia Egemo Ford.
