BLANCHE MOEKLY

Funeral service for Blanche Moekly will be held on Monday, Feb. 13 at 10 a.m. at the Bethany Manor Chapel in Story City. Rev. Enoch Hall will officiate at this service.

At 1:30 p.m. services will be held at the White Oak Church, south of Cambridge, with burial at White Oak Cemetery. Soderstrum-Larson funeral home in Story City is in charge of the arrangements.

She was born on Sept.5, 1890 at Polk City, Iowa to Walter D. and Mary L. Marts. She was married on Sept. 4 to Fred Moekly, who died on Jan. 31, 1920. She had lived around Elkhart until 1962, then moved to Roland and moved to Bethany Manor in 1970.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Sterling Sande of Roland and Mrs. Harry Wempen of Ashland, Oregon; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, one brother and one sister.
