Edwin E. Zook

Edwin Earl Zook, 75, of Brooklyn, Iowa, died Feb. 3 at Grinnell General Hospital of a heart attack.

Zook was born June 21, 1915, in Nevada and attended local schools. He married Mary Gertrude Morris May 112, 1938, in Unionville, Mo., and was a retired welder with Altorfer Machinery Company in Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include his wife; five daughters, Mary Wilson, Carol Wacker, Ritz Zook, and Jean Zook, all of Cedar Rapids, and Susan Zook stationed with the United States Air Force in Sembach, West Germany; three sons, Raymond L. Zook of Cedar Rapids, Earl J. Zook of Gillette, Wyo., and David M. Zook of Denver, Colo., one brother, C. Lee Zook of Story City; four sisters, Mary Grovier, Doris Cook, Nadine Rosga, and Pat Jacobson, all of California, 10 grandchildren, and one great-grandson.

Services were held Feb. 7 at Cedar Rapids. The body was donated to the University of Iowa Department of Anatomy.
