OBITUARY

Huldah Moore
April 20, 1920, to May 28, 2001

Huldah Price Atterbury Moore, 81, of Westminster, Colo., and formerly of Maxwell, died Monday, May 28, at the Care Center in Westminster, Colo., from congestive heart failure.

She was born April 20, 1920, in Sidney, Iowa, to James Monroe and Gladys St. John Price Atterberry. She married Edward Moore and moved to Denver, Colo., in 1854. She was raised in Maxwell and graduated from Maxwell High School n 1937 and attended Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls. She was a dental assistant, Real Estate agent and a business woman. She and her husband owned Ed Moore Florist in Denver until their retirement in 1986.

Survivors include a sister, Betty (and Matthew) Chandler of Kalaheo, Kauai, Hawaii, and nieces and nephews.

Her parents, her husband, and two sisters, Ida Frances Szatkowski and Katherine Schweitzer, preceded her in death.

Graveside services were held Saturday at the Maxwell Cemetery with the Rev. Don Burket officiating. The Bacon Funeral Home, Maxwell, handled arrangements.
