OBITURARIES

Aramilda Roadenizer
Died May 30, 2001

Aramilda "Midge" Grim Roadenizer, 93, of Nevada, died at Story County Medical Center on May 30 of congestive heart failure.

She was born in Jones County. She lived in Cedar Rapids, before moving to the Ames area in 1949. She worked as a welder at Bourns Mfg. She was a Gold Star mother, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Colo United Methodist Church and the Garden Club. She had run a restaurant for many years, the South Side Cafe in Colo.

Surviors indclude two daughters, Audrey Carpenter of Maxwell and Thelma Hubbard of Ames, nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Charles Roadenizer, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Monday at First United Methodist Church in Maxwell. Burial was in the Maxwell Cemetery. Merle Hay Funeral Home handled arrangements.
