Funeral Services Held at Gilbert For Geo. C. Clouser

Gilbert, Dec. 23--Funeral services for the later George C. Clouser, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Clouser, who died of a heart attack Friday evening, were held at the Gilbert Congregational church on Tuesday afternoon with interment in the Gilbert cemetery.

Rev. J. O. Smith, of Milford, and Gordon Blunt of Drake University, were in charge of the services.

George Clouser was born on a farm northwest of Gilbert, but at the time of his death he lived with his wife and family in Gilbert.

He leaves to mourn his death, his wife, Dorothy and two daughter, Lavonne and Lucille and 3 sons, Kenneth, Norman and Gerald at home. Also his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Clouser and 1 brother, Ernest of Gilbert; 4 sisters, Mrs. Attie Bennett, Mrs. Erma Henderson of Vallejo, Cal.; and Mrs. Ruby Cone of Arlington, Va., and Mrs. Myrl Towne of Chicago, Ill., besides a host of other friends and relatives.

His parents live in Gilbert but had gone to Vallejo, Cal., for the winter months. Upon arriving there Mr. Clouser became ill and underwent a serious operation. Mr. Clouser was unable to come to the funeral but Mrs. Clouser and her grandson, Eldon Bennett of Vallejo, Cal., came. Also from a distance, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cone and Shirlye of Arlington, Va., and Mr. and Mrs. Claude Towne and family of Chicago, and Mrs. A. J. Seymour of Seymour, Ill.
