OBITUARY

Mrs. Elizabeth Bunce, the widow of the late D. K. Bunce, departed this present life from her home at Gilbert in the early morning of Tuesday, May 18, 1920. The cause of her death was heart failure. She was a native of Story county and at the time of her demise was 72 years of age. Her funeral services are being held this afternoon in the Congregational church at Gilbert. Mrs. Bunce was a worthy woman and her passing away is much regretted by he friends and fellow townsmen.

She leaves three sons and three daughters. The sons are William, Frank and Art, the latter of Artesian, S. D. The daughters are Mrs. Martha Bouneau, Mitchell, S. D., and Mrs. Peter Marsden and Mrs. Joseph Watt of Boone county. She also leaves one brother, Fred Linerode, Omaha, Nebr., and four sisters, Mrs. Frank Whalen, Mrs. Dr. Walker, Mrs. John Bowman of Boone county and Mrs. Jacob Gunder of Gilbert. Her posterity of the second and third generations number thirty-three grand children and one great-grandchild. The home of Mrs. Bunce has been in Gilbert and on a farm adjoining the town for many years.
