Marion C. Kingsbury
July 18, 1906, to May 20, 1994

Marion C. Kingsbury, 87, of Nevada, died of heart failure at Story County Long Term Care, Nevada.

He was born to Addison G. and Laura (Barbour) Kingsbury in Ames. He lived in Story County his entire life. In 1925, he graduated from Nevada High School. He farmed the family's Century FArm in rural Nevada until his brother's death in 1974 He remained on the farm until October 1993.

Survivors include his brother-in-law, Marvin Wahlert of Williams; his nephew, Wayne Wahlert of Williams; his niece, Alice Bowden of Albuquerque, N.M.; and his great-niece and great-nephew, Holly and Wade Wahlert of Williams.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Frank M. Kingsbury; his sister, Edna Wahlert; his parents; and a nephew.

Services were held May 24 at Adams Funeral Home, Ames, with the Rev. Stanley R. Peterson of Ankeny officiating. Burial was in the Ames Municipal Cemetery. Adams Funeral Home, Ames, was in charge of arrangements.
