Mrs. Emeline Taylor.
The funeral of Mrs. Emeline Taylor, for a number of years a highly respected resident of Ames, was held in that city Thursday afternoon, May 25, being conducted by Rev. F. D. Ferrall. She had recently removed to Minneapolis, Minn., to reside with her daughter, Mrs. W. M. Rich and it was while at her home that she came to death by falling from a second story window Monday evening, striking head foremost upon the sidewalk below. Mrs. Taylor was 59 years of age, had not been in good health for number of years and was subject to occasional attacks of faintness. She was alone in her room at the time of the accident, and it is believed that she was seize with faintness while standing near the open window, or that, feeling the attack coming on, she went to the window for air, fainted and fell forward to her death.
