JESSE TARMAN DIED SUDDENLY

WAS FOUND DEAD AT HIS APARTMENT EARLY THURSDAY EVENING

Jesse Tarman, 63, was found dead in his bed in his apartments at 1109 1/2 Main street Thursday evening, by his brother F. C. Tarman. Death was due to a heart attack and other complicatons and had probably occurred an hour or so before he was found.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon and interment will be in the Nevada cemetery. The services will be held at 2:30 at the Morfoot funeral home.

The deceased, eldest son of Chauncey Tarman of 822 Second street, came to Nevada with the family nearly forty years ago from Gridley, Ill., and this had been his home the most of the time since.

During the past ten years his health had been impaired and he had been subject to attacks which threatened his life at any time.

For several months he had been occupying an apartment on Main street and it was his failure to appear during the late afternoon the prompted his brother to go over to the apartment about 7:30 to look after him. There he was found upon his bed, dead.

Jesse Tarman was born at Gridley, Ill., April 27, 1869, the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Tarman. Before the family moved to Nevada about 40 years ago, the mother of the deceased died and the father was remarried.

He leaves besides his father and step-mother, a sister, Mrs. Warren Diamond of Dallas, Texas, a half sister Mrs. Lee Bremer of Ulm, Wyoming and two half brothers, Harry Tarman of Ames and Francis Tarman of Nevada.
