Services Saturday At Nevada Church For Clara Peterson

Mrs. Clara Peterson, a resident of Story County her entire life, died at the Story County Hospital Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the age of of 76.

Mrs. Peterson had been a patient the past two weeks at the hospital and had been ill for several years.

Born May 15, 1891 in Story County, she was the daughter of Lewis and Jacobine Helland.

She was a member of the Memorial Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her three brothers, Peder Helland of Albert Lea, Minn.; Leonard Helland of Tulare, Calif.; and Ernest Helland of Whittier, Calif.; and four sisters, Mrs. Alma Hanson of Albert Lea, Minn.; Mrs. Gladys Hangartner of Casper, Wyo.; Mrs. Blance Huntrods of Hemet, Calif.; and Mrs. Berdella Kulow of Hacienda Heights, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, two sisters and her husband, John W. Peterson, who died in 1966.

The body will remain at the Ryan Funeral Home until noon Saturday when it will be taken to the Memorial Lutheran Church to await services at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Harry Myklebust will officiate. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
