DEATHS

W. T. WHITE

W.T. (Turl) White, son of Samuel M. and Mary Ellen White was born on the family farm in what was known as the Hickory Grove Community, 6 miles southeast of Nevada on March 23, 1871.

Turl never married and when his parents retired fromthe farm he accompanied his parents to Nevada. Following the death of his parents, a sister Mrs. Elizabeth Gallagher and Turl continued to live in the home in Nevada until the death of Mrs. Gallagher. Following this he made his home for the next 15 years with a niece, Mrs. John Lounsberry in Colo and continued to live there until due to failing health he became a resident of Riverside Manor rest home at Ames.

He died at Mary Greeley Hospital, February 18, 1966 at the age of 94 years.

Preceding him in death are his parents; brothers, Sam Jr., and sisters, Elizabeth Gallagher, Hattie Gearhart and Dora.

Turl leaves nephews, Ross E. White and Glen A. White of Colo and Don White of Nevada; nieces, Mrs. Bert (Pauline) Olson, Mrs. John (Anna) Lounsberry of Colo, Mrs. Paul (Elizabeth) Banks of Nevada, Mrs. Walter (Isabelle) Bamford of Scottsdale, Ariz., Mrs. Alta Martin of Albuquerque, New Mexico and friends both of Nevada and Colo.
