H. R. Ferguson Funeral Services Held In Colo
Funeral services for H. R. “Perry” Ferguson were held Tuesday, March 20 at the Methodist Church in Colo with the Rev. Floyd Newbrough officiating.
Burial was in the Colo cemetery.
Obituary
Howard R. Ferguson, son of David and Frances Ferguson, was born June 6, 1914 at Ortonville, Minn. And died March 15, 1962 at the Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colo., after only a brief illness.
He was united in marriage to Martha Jean Hambly in 1947 at Nevada, Iowa, and after their marriage they lived in Colo until moving to Colorado in 1954. The years of his life were spent in Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his father, two sisters and one brother.
He is survived by his wife, Martha, his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Lem Oxley of Nevada; one sister, Mrs. Tom (Dorothy) Maroney of Nevada; three brothers, Mert of Grants Pass, Ore., David of Lisbon, Ia., Wesley of Des Moines, Ia.; two step-brothers, Owen Oxley of Minneapolis, Minn.; also nieces and nephews and many friends.
