Mrs. Chris Rasmussen Dies at Farm Home West of Nevada

Mrs. Karen Maria Rasmussen, 79, died at her farm home 4 miles west of Nevada, Tuesday evening after a brief illness.

The body is at the Lilly Funeral Home where funeral rights will be held, the time yet to be determined, pending definite word from some of the sons in Los Angeles, California.

Mrs. Rasmussen was the widow of the late Chris Rasmussen, long time farmer of north Grant township.

Mrs. Rasmussen had lived in this community 71 years, coming here as a child from Denmark. She is survived by 9 sons, they being Fred, Oscar and John all of Nevada; William, Albert, Hans, Nels and Jess, all of Los Angeles and environs and also Frank now in service in England.
